Must The 48 Hours Of Darkness Before Harvest Be Uninterrupted?

This may be a silly question to some but as the title describes, must the 48 Hours of Darkness, prior to harvest, be uninterrupted? I would like to think that it doesn't matter as we are just trying to send the signal that her days are numbered.

i dont think it matters for one
for two prob isnt going to make that much a difference anyways unless youre grow is 100% dialed in and have had absolutely no problems throughout prob just making yourself anticipate for an extra 24-48 hrs

Personally, I do it because what's an extra 2 days when you've been flowering for 60 plus days anyway
Make sure it's uninterrupted
It's supposed to enhance tric and resin production
And if it helps even a little bit, great huh?
If not, nothing lost
