My First Journal

Hey Herby40! Thank you so much for your compliments. I should clarify the genetic selection for this particular grow did not take six years...rather I spent six years acquiring strains from breeders across the globe and current have 221 different varieties. I have space to run 12 to 15 plants, but try to keep it to 6 to 9 girls at a time. By limiting the size of my team I believe this allows me to focus on the individual needs of the plants....each girl gets more attention. I still have PHET seeds somewhere from a SSSC ....from 1989. Advances in LED lighting, Hi Brix grow techniques and Feminized seeds have changed indoor growing forever!

Ahh well you definately sound like you got this growing thing well n trully sown up. I notice alot of grows have that Hi Brix in the heading, whats that all about if you dont mind a small definition

Hi Brix is a method of measuring fruit and vegetable quality by measuring the Brix or carbohydrate concentration in a sample of plant tissue. This is measured using a Brix refractor. Very simple way to measure the exact "health" of a plant.....any type of plant.:high-five:

Good genetics and patience are the to most important things in my opinion! Take your time to read and learn, don't be afraid to ask questions....some of the old guys have been doing this for 50 years! Check the Old Guy threads or Graytails work....Very Cool!

looking great Browny, nice indica type leaves on those babies. Keep it up ill be popping in for sure to see those lovelys mature
:goodjob:

btw you lost me on the first line about the brix, way over my head dude lol... na im only kidding, sounds interesting but ill see how I get on with this current grow and my next one yield wise n then see if I need to change anything. I know on this attempt I just let em grow, never tied or even cut the underneath growth. Im calling it my lazyarse grow

Hey Herby! Lol...that is precisely what I thought when I first stumbled across the "Kit". This grow is not in "Hi Brix" soil....50/50 FoxFarm Coco Loco and HP Promix, bat guano, oyster shell, alfalfa meal, blood meal, bone meal...lime and azomite rock dust. After seeing the results of the Hi Brix kit from Doc Bud...I had to give it a go!:thumb: I will start "cooking" my soil sometime in the next few weeks.

Hello my Peoples! A few pictures....some Strawberry Cough leaf porn just for SweetSue. The three big girls Cinderella99, Blackberry OG, and The Purps have been transplanted and moved to the flowering room. I decided to try Doc's "dunk" watering method.....swear a little pee came out me holding them under like that. Sorry....that was too much sharing. Anywho...vertically scored the root mass, dusted with mycos and loving planted in seven gallon grow bags filled with me own mix of Foxfarm Coco Loco, HP Promix , and a few additions. Although I have had huge success with my own stuff....Doc's High Brix soil is cooking as we speak. The outstanding results that I have seen in the 420 Community has warranted further investigation! :high-five:

First a few pictures of the Strawberry Cough and the rest of Team Cookies still in the vegetative area.

This is what is left in the veg room, these girls will be transplanted this weekend and thrown in the flower room. My clones are ready for transplant to Solo cups for the next batch.

Looking great Brown, how long before flower??? My P.E#2 is definately one for being topped, doesnt have much of a cola and gd secondary, this is why I tend to grow my plants from seed natural, to get a gd look at it, see if it has a cola etc etc n then go from there

Hey everybody! Sorry for the extended absence. Team Cookies is still on track...Herby thanks.for. checking on me! My mother's cancer treatments havent allowed time for updates. I will attempt to post new pics soon. Ummmm....all the girls are now in the flowering area and looking sexy!

Hey my 420Peeps! Anyone have experience with foilar sprays? I don't prefer to spray anything on my girls...but I have used Doc's De-stress and Brix with great results. As far as what I am actually spraying...I am clueless! Stuff is awesome. How long into flowering do you use foilar feeding? How effective is it in early flower? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Herb, what is vodoo juice??? Some finishing or flush? I have something called Earth Juice catalyst... supposed to be an organic bloom booster?? I would prefer to learn more before applying anything I am not experienced with.
