Need lots of help/explaining

hello everyone just want to introduce my self. i have been smoking for about 4 years now, and to tell you the truth im sick of paying for it. i have no idea where to start. can someone run me down a list on what to buy to start off with. (soil,lights ect) i really want to become a experienced grower. any help is good. plz dont tell me to read the FAQs cause i already did. i didnt really understand it to well.

you need to figure out where ya' are gonna put everything, first.

is there a certain soil i should use? mirical grow?

Fox Farms is best.
Nothing with time released ferts for the Novice.
Anything that says organic.

ok what are nutes and when do i use them? how many times do i water, and how many lights will i need. and how much will they cost.

nutrients and micro-nutrients are found in fertilizers.
used during both stages of growth, veg and flower

the rest all depends on what ya' got to work with.
