Needing some guidance

New to the site and need some advice. Started doing autoflowers recently and am confused about the "auto" part on 1 out of the 2 plants. 1 is "autoflowering" nicely (although smaller rhan what I'm used to). But the other is a monster and growing beautifully and has yet to flower. My question is...do autoflowers need a bud cycle of light? Both plants are in the same tent with bountiful light on a 24 hr schedule and were germinated at the same time. Its now been 7 weeks and I'm getting frustrated at the lack of show. See pics and reply. Thanks

Where were the seeds from? We have seen a few members buy "auto" seeds that actually turned out to be photoperiod plants.
A couple seedbanks out there are bad about that.

They're about a couple mos. now. I got the smaller one to bloom 5 wks in under 24 hr light. Another reply told me the bigger one could be a photoperiod seed, not a feminized one. Possibly?
Could be anything, honestly. Could be photo/fem, or photo/reg.
I wouldn't write it off quite yet though... I have had 2 different autos that made it to 7-8 weeks before flowering.

If you get past that point, I would consider flipping to 12/12. The other auto should handle the light change just fine, might affect overall yield, but, generally, it won't stress it out from switching.
