New Grower looking for best advice on hydro and autoflower

im buying a big boy hydro system and plan on using auto flowers on a 20/4 lighting schedule if you can give me any advice on this I would appreciate it!! Thank You

I would use a 18/6 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness lighting schedule. I read a study where lighting schedule versus root length was tested and plants grown under 16/8 grew the longest roots, 18/6 was not tested. I was made aware of a study where lighting schedule versus growth was tested and plants given at least 5.5 hours of light grew the most.

i had mine under 24 for first 2weeks and now on 20for next 4 then 16/8 gna be for final weeks try and create extra resins mine are soil tho which has complicated my grow

I'm growing a autoflower in soil. Growing in a cold basement, I need the heat from my light, so I plan to go 24/0. Any thoughts and suggestions are appreciated...

I would use a heater in the area where your intake air is from.

Are you putting pots on the concrete ground? id put a heat pad under each keep the roots warm but autos like 24hrs light due to ruderalis growing in climates with over 20hrs light also there not fussed about heat they will grow in cooler climates
