It shouldn't. But I always leave major fan leaves until the plant gets rid of them naturally. The way I look at it, they are the plants batteries and when they run out of energy, they suck it out of them. If they are in the way of new growth or bud sites, just tuck them out the way.
Everyone has different methods though

Yeah I completely agree but since I chopped the 3 fan leaves the whole plant has been exploding with grow. Still have 1 solar panel left lol

Also my tap water reads at 7.0 - 7.1, is there any natural way to ph down as I don’t want to buy any products due to being way over my budget already for this grow, thanks a lot

A pinch of baking soda brings your ph up and lemon juice will bring it down. Use very sparingly.

Ive been using apple cider vinegar for PH down as my tap water comes out at 7.0-7.3
