Hi guys.
This is my first time posting in a forum. I have a tray of clones where all of the clones look great, except for 3 that have mangled new growth that looks like something has been chewing on it.
I have checked for russet mites, broad mites, any type of mites under my professional microscope and I can confirm that the plants are pest-free. The roots are beautiful, long, fluffy, and bright white, so it’s not a root rot issue.
I use Clonex solution to dip the clones at a dilution rate of 30ml per gallon, which puts me at about 650 PPM with a water pH of 6.0.
Temperature in my room stays between 75-80F, and humidity ranges from 65-75. I use Luxx clone LEDs.
There are no bugs in the room at all, but it looks like something is eating the leaves…I doubt they just do that on their own. I dissected the stem on this plant and found no evidence of any systemic pests like caterpillars.
Any idea what could be causing this? As I mentioned, the rest of the tray looks great and doesn’t have signs of this happening.
