Lynyrd Skynyrd was probably the best concert Ive ever seen. 1985 or so. Alabama is up there too, see why they were entertainer of the year many times. Both well worth price of ticket. Great Day NCW! EWWW that smell!

The Eagles... in a grange hall somewhere around Eureka California. Early 80's. The odd grange hall was a stop on the trip from LA to Seattle for many groups. It was a day's travel away from PDX, but worth the journey to catch such huge names in such a small venue.

hmmm.... never thought of it before, but all of my favorite music spots have been small venues.

I'm currently very blessed when it comes to music. New Orleans has an extremely active music community with tons of visitors to boot.
Jazzfest (one of our yearly mega-fests) occurs about 1 block from my front porch... I catch one of the stages quite well.
Plus... just random wonderful things happen. Stevie Wonder did a set in a hotel bar when he got rained out of his scheduled event. I caught Elvis Costello in a really dark piano bar (Lafitte's) one evening.
One just never knows.

Awesome. N.O seems cool. I always wanted to visit there especially during party gras but then again mardi gras might be a little to over crowded for me. I will venture there one day though. Its not to far from Maryland

Thanks everyone for looking into my grows.... Got to say we have this little Indian Casino close called Chinook Winds close,, maybe 2 hours max from here.. Super small venue.. They use to have church table set up for peoples.. I seen both CDB Band, Charile Daniels Band there and Travis Tritt too.. Sit right up front.... I have 'kind of a update' tonight.. Isn't anything important,, first is my transplant station;

and here my introduction of mycos which I do at every transplanting....

ok heres another shot of a Galaxy and my C-99 that made it.. Galaxy is suppose to possiably finish outdoors in my season??????????? We'll see.....

I plan on getting some fresh pictures up of afew I have almost done.. They are looking pretty damn nice... Updates soon.. I have a Candy, a Skywalker, and a DOG just about done.... Then I'm almost shut down in there.. I do have afew others in there,, but if they don't go to term,, I won't lose sleep.. I have to do some serious thinking before I wire this next box in there.. I kind of need to look ahead and look into exspandsion.. I need atleast 2 deicated 220 lines in there... I still want that split air and 4 1500 watt ballasts a blasting soon....

My sister drug me to my first rock concert in 72, Chicago playing.. My grandmother woodn't let her go unless she drug me...
BUT Day On The Green with the Original Skynyrd Band.. has to be my favorite memory in concerts of all times... I feel blessed to be able to see Ronnie before the crash.... Keepem Green

My first concert was Ozzy's first tour with out black Sabbath. Blizzard of oz tour. I think I was 12. My older brother and his friends let me tag along. Good times
