Outdoor fertilizers

Been growing outdoors the last few years with some mediocre results using 20-20-20 and 10-52-10 water soluble fertilizers mainly cause I can easily get them and cheap. I am looking to get some advice on trying some other fertilizers and ratios.Any suggestions? Thanks

I think 20-20-20 would work OK. I use an N-P-K ratio of 2-1-3 at 800 PPM in veg and it works great for me.
What kind of grow medium/soil are you using? Maybe that's holding you back(?).
