Pre-Harvest trimming

Hello folks,
I am close to harvesting, about a week or two out. My question is, can I remove the bulk of the fan leaves and larger leaves that are blocking sunlight to the buds. I see a lot of pics with alot of the vegitation removed when the plants are budding.
Any advice is appreciated.

That is a great read jungleekidd... I am undecided on that one still. Of course, my opinion is that, a smaller plant will be IMO negatively affected much more so than a large plant.
Check my thread, I pull my share of fans and have yet to notice any negative effects, I don't have smallish plants so, I can't testify to any neg effects on them.
