Prepping your (hydro) grow for prolonged absence

I'm going to be leaving for about a week pretty soon. Vacation rocks but I feel somewhat uneasy leaving my plant all by herself!

I was just wondering what people do when they know they will be away from their grow for an extended period of time, what extra precautions they take, etc, before leaving.

I just have one plant in a bubbler. Been veging for about 20 days, so I guess the main thing is to make sure she's got a full res of nutes and that the light is high enough that she won't grow into it while I'm away. I can leave the closet door open to make sure it doesn't get too warm since it'll be pretty much dark while I'm gone.

Anything else you guys can think of? :grinjoint:

Cheers

first - have a great time on vacation

what i have always done was - add additional water to the reservoir (it will evaporate), and make sure the lights are off the plants good - or the plants are tied down if doing a lst.

i would hate the idea of leaving the door open, my stuff is under lock and key, but if you do not have closed loop ventilation then i guess you have no choice.

it is fun to leave the gals for a week, and come back and see the progress.

good luck, bog
