Day 52, just growing along, doing her thing. The buds themselves are very dense and frosty, smell is getting strong as well, liking it! She got fed yesterday, same feeding as usual. As mentioned I will NOT be flushing this time round as to compare to last grow in which I did! Also as mentioned I will be finishing her with 36 hours of darkness, magic number I’ma gonna try! Couple of trichome pics but not great. Trying to only go by ones on buds not sugar leaves and still think I have ways to go. I see clear and some cloudy. Better view when I just look without trying to take pics, it’s tough, lol!

Day 56 week 8, she looks good, the top buds are getting close but lower will need more time. So my question is can I harvest the top main buds once ready and let the lower ones go longer as I could then lower the light to get closer to those buds ? I had an Amazon microscope but can’t find and having hard time with viewing the trichomes. From what I can see, their still clear with some milky, no amber and again didn’t expect any. Also still notice a lot of white pistols. Think I will be just feeding her straight distilled water from here out. I’m thinking more and more that weather you flush or you don’t it’s not going to make much difference in the end so why waste using nutrients? I’m so close I can taste it! Happy smoking all!

Day 57, so no new changes other than finding out my bigger light, the Phlizon 1600W LED’s veg lights don’t come on? When I have light off and hit the veg button the fan comes on but no lights. The bloom lights come on just fine? I have always used both the veg and bloom lights throughout entire grows. Not worried about this plant as almost done now and bloom is on as well as my smaller light the Phlizon 600W LED is on both veg and bloom. Guess I’ll need to look at something new for my next grow, which is fine but may be a bit. I’m currently off work on sick benefits waiting for surgery next month and losing considerable money as I’m in a union and normally make decent money. Add in the wife who lost her job due to Covid and also on E.I. and things change quick! Sorry not trying to be a Debbie downer at all, lol. Just we’ve had our share of obstacles since Covid started like most, and I know I’ll be back to work end of Aug. so could be worst! I also just got approved recently for medicinal marijuana 30g’s a month as my union benefits allow me $2500 a year for medicinal marijuana, so I pay nothing for that. It’s a great thing to have as between it and growing I never pay! Oh and again tried to get better pics of trichomes, from the view I get I only see clear or milky ones? Happy smoking all!

day 59, still looking good, again not a lot of change with trichomes. Am noticing some burn on edges of some leaves, as well as couple brown spots? Not to concerned as the buds are looking great and really frosty, smell is strong. Would anyone know if I could harvest the top main colas and let all the lower go longer when the time comes. My last grow I had two plants, both I chop entire plant but first I dried separate branches, the second plant got dried as a whole plant, both where good. Only thing I wish I had done is let both go longer as I felt by buzz I harvested them both bit early.

Day 60, just some trichome pics if anyone can tell me what they think, I see most cloudy but still no amber maybe a few? My thought is one more good watering plain distilled, and see where I’m at by Saturday as that will be 63 days or 9 weeks, thoughts?

Hello Bill, doing okay, thx for asking. Hope all is well with you also! I will see what I can do. At the moment I only have a 30x loupe and using it with my iPhone. In doing so I find the picture quality with lights out is very poor. I did find an app with a loupe which is what I use for bud pics, better than the actual camera! I will try with that later and see what I can do! Happy smoking!

I agree, and that’s okay by me! I had to add some bamboo stakes as few buds are getting top heavy, again good problems to have!

If you don't have to support your buds they are too small.

Day 66, well she’s still going! I gave her straight water last night with good runoff, hoping she’ll almost be ready once she’s dry again. Got a few trichome pics, not under blurple lights and I see cloudy or clear with no real amber still as well as white pistols, the wait continues and patience tested! Lol

Day 68, so she still seems to be going good, had to support another smaller branch...oh darn!
So now I don’t feel comfortable moving her to get better trichome pics, so these are as good as it gets. I myself think I’m close, may not water again if timing goes good. If I can let her dry out completely, then let her sit in 36 hours darkness to finish, I’ll be happy! Still a waiting game though. Happy smoking!

Okay so it’s day 69 and man it’s not been real good. My plant is fine but went up tonight and lights didn’t come on, luckily I noticed right when they should have come on and didn’t, had to unplug from the timer and manually plug them in. Plus I’m almost to the point lights may go out tomorrow morning at 7 and stay in the dark for 36hrs. I’ve tried taking trichome pics again but just a pain with using my iPhone and jewellers loupe. So as I wind down with this grow it comes with good timing in regards to needing new lights and more! I now have to decide where to dry my plant, which is proving to become a hard decision. I say this because my spare room where the grow tent sits is a tad warm for drying but nice RH, about 25-27 degrees with 35-40% RH. If I go down in the basement it’s a great temperature but really low RH, about 18/19 degrees with only 17-20% RH. Not really sure what would be best way to go? Have a few days to decide, hope someone could shed some light on it here, could use the help? Couple of pics from earlier.

Well it’s day 71 since flipping and she’ll be chopped tonight at 7 as she’s been in dark since yesterday at 7am, 36hrs total. I didn’t get any response here from anyone so did what I feel is best and think I should be fine. I’ve decided to dry my plant whole in my dining room closet of all places, lol. No but really, it’s at 55% RH and 22-24 degrees, still in awe that I’d got my wifey to agree! Lol Will have some pics later!
