Question about flushing and using high pH tap water

Hello folks,

Quick question about flushing.

I have a grow going in a 4-gallon smart pot. I am in the 12th week of Veg and will be flipping to flower this weekend. I use LED grow lights so have been supplementing my grow with Calimagic (Cal/Mag plus nitrogen) every other watering. My lamps consist of a G8LED 240-watt full spectrum lamp that will be supplemented with a UFO red-spectrum lamp once I flip to flower. I've been watering my plant since it sprouted using distilled water PH'd to 6.5.

Before I flip to flower, I would like to flush the pot to reduce the accumulation of any salts and excess nutrients that may be present in the soil. Basically, I want to "clean" the soil up a bit before I switch to flowering nutrients.

Here's the question: My tap water has a PH of 8.5 as measured with a PH pen. Can I first flush the pot with three or so gallons of tap water and then follow that with two gallons of distilled water to get my soil PH back down to normal levels?

Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
