Help! my plants baby leaf turned brown is it going to die? I never had this happen before, too much water?

Water when the cup feels dry. That looks like to much water and not enough light.

When cupping run them in a clear plastic cup and put that in your red cup.

Stack the cups and punch drainage holes.

That way you can pull the clear cup up and see if it's dry and root bound.
 
Unstable temperatures, lack of nutrients and not enough light can cause stretching. Normally a seedling gets 18 hours of light. Unless you have one heck of a window it's not getting enough light.

You also need a fan making the stem bend back and forth, that makes a strong stem.

In your case it's stretched because not enough light.

Ye needs feeding to some idea, over and under watering seem to appear to share same symptoms as for stretch that could be light hanging distance as well... so we got a few things to look at :green_heart:
 
Thanks everyone! I do believe it is a light issue I now bring them out in the garden in the morning for the eastern sun and then back inside but I rotate them around the room I put them wherever the sun is, seems to be working :)
