rose pedals, orange or banana peel, lettuce... leave in for a few hours and keep checking on it. :peace:

slice of carrot or a piece of celery with your herb in a mason jar.

i've learned that when I harvest, I take a very large branch, the thickness of a pencil, and 12 inches long, and I freeze it in a baggie in the refrigerator. If I find a jar too dry,
I cut a two inch lenght of stem, split it down the middle and put it in the jar for a day.

Works good for me!

dab your finger with some water (just a little) and wipe it on the lid and screw it back on...ive used an orange peel before too but a little goes a long way..

Thanks VAP..
Took your idea and modified it ...to..piece of paper towel and cut it to fit the top of the jar..sprayed it with water and YAAA..hours later ..my stuff was moist.

Thanks again to all who replyed.
