So here we are!

This is the start of my adventure to grow some beautiful buds! I need to mention that I'm a big time beginner,
but I've been an avid reader of this forum for nearly 1 year. If any of you have any inputs at all (light, water, nutrients) please don't hesitate to share! Here's my equipment:

4'9 X 4'9 X 6'7 MarsHydro grow tent
Bucket Size - 18 gallon (10 gallon of water)
Apollo Horticulture 600 Watt Grow Light (MH and HPS)
Active Air 400 CFM
Air Carbon Filter

General Hydroponics Flora Series TRIO
Hydroguard

Rapid Rooter
5x Wonder Woman Feminized
1x Blue Mystic Feminized (gift)

I'm not the DIY type of guy so I had some trouble setting up the room, but after about 2-3 days of struggle, it is now complete and look perfect to me! I let the seeds soak for about 48h in room temperature. Most of them had cracked up so I put them in rapid rooter, push gently on them, and started the grow room!

Temp is around 77-80F and humidity around 35-40%. PH goes from 5.5 to 5.8 so I'm good on that side.

DAY 1 - Seeds has been planted!

DAY 4 - Some sprouts already!

Once again, this is my first grow, so if you have any advice, please don't hesitate to share!

Thank you! =)

DAY 5!

Temp is still around 77F, humidity at 30%. The good news of the day: All 6 plants have now sprout! I had some late little fellas that I thought wouldn't grow, but it was a nice surprise this morning. Water is still nearly full, PPM around 180, PH of 6. So far so good! Here's 2 pics of today =) If you have any comments, don't hesitate!

Tomorrow gonna be my 5th weeks from start, end of 1st week of flowering. I will post some picture of the leaves and from the general setup =) Right now I have 5 plants left, 1 was way smaller than the other, so I decided to trash it.

Some of the lower leaves have a bit of yellow, bit I'm pretty sure it is because they don't get enough light, so I just cut them. PPM is in the 500 range and I keep PH around 5.8

Everything is going well so far!

DAY 35!

End of 1st flowering week.

RH: 45%
Temp: 75F
PH : 5.8
HPS Light 12/12

I've been a bit disappointed by the lack of comments since I started this journal, hence why I've been a while without posting. The good thing is everything is going great, so I don't have too many questions. I've added a couple of pictures of those gorgeous plants. I would have a question about the last 2 pictures. It seem some of the bottom leaves of the plant start to have a small discoloration. My guess is because they don't get enough light, since they are at the bottom, but since I'm new I could be wrong. Everything else is fine, so I would appreciate any advices.

Thank you for your help! I really appreciate it!

DAY 44!

I did notice the fan fix to my carbon filter was pulling too much air from the tent, resulting in my tent being all wrap up by the inside. I did open one of the trap at the bottom and since then, everything is going well. I did make sure no light was going in the tent prior to opening it.

I did defoliate a bit the weak leaves and the one that was making shadow for the bud sites at the top. Also please note that I only did top those 5 plants 1 time and it is the only training I did on them with defoliation, hence why it is a bit big right now. PH and everything is all good.

Looking good! I pull the fan leaves that are blocking light or tuck/wrap them out of the way as needed. Don't be afraid to defoliate just take it slowly!

Thank you Torst! I appreciate your kind comments! I will try to defoliate a bit more, slowly but surely, to get more light on every bud sites =)

DAY 48!

The buds are starting to grow more pistils every day! They do, however, drink a lot. I'm happy they are in a 10gal container, I can't imagine myself adding water every other day hehe. I will be starting Week 8 of my nutes schedule tomorrow. Also, for your information, I'm changing my water every 14 days, and I had no issue so far.

DAY 67!

Here's some close pics of my buds at day 67. I'm really happy of the result so far. No sickness, diseases or any issue at all. PH around 5.7, leaves are green, roots are pristines. I need to find a way to keep those stem straight, they are kind of heavy. I'm guessing they are still like 3 weeks away of being done. What do you guys think?

Re: Realix - DWC Setup - 5x WW & 1x BM - First Grow

Hey hey looking good! How bout a whole tent shot? We used fishing line to string up each of our colas on the lady beerus that just got too top heavy. We almost made it the whole grow with no scrog nets or anything but she toppled the last week of flower lol. I would say the number one takeway from my first grow is how important training the plants are for yield and structure. We would crack and bend our colas every week to try and form a 16 leg octopus if you will lol. (great for light spacing to each cola) It's a bit of work and nerve racking but it really plumps the stems up after they recover for a few days and also becomes stronger. Plumper stems mean more fluid and nutrient uptake which means plumper buds. Stronger stems that radiate perpendicular from the plant then vertical also mean they can support a shit ton more weight!

Re: Realix - DWC Setup - 5x WW & 1x BM - First Grow

Hey Sampson! Sorry for the late answer, it's been quite busy over here.

I took a whole tent shot as requested. I tried to use the small gardening string to create some square between stem, it seem to work so far. Due to lack of time, I didn't train them enough, at least not as much as I wanted, but the result is still great! I did some light defoliation to get more light going through. We are on DAY 75 right now, here's a couple of shots

Yeah this could serve as a futur warning to proper do training on plants, as it is very difficult to control them in this state. Chop time should be in 2 weeks, depending on thricomes. I'm starting to flush this friday.

It will probably be a smaller harvest as you, but again, this only show how important training is to increase the yield.

Hope all is well in your world.

How did this grow turn out?

We would love to be updated with some pictures and info.

How about posting a 420 Strain Review?

If you need any help with posting photos, please read our Photo Gallery Tutorial.

I am moving this to Abandoned Journals until we get updates.
