My babies have sprung they are 2days old. The tap root is coming out the bottom of my 1.5 inch rock wool.
When do I place them in the 4" rock wool block?

You can place it in now if you like. Just be very very careful not to hurt root or roots. I try to transplant mine as soon as I see the tip of a root to make it easy not to damage any in transplant.
