Seed stripes wiping off?

So I’ve got a certain strain (Chocolope) that produces seeds that have tiger stripes that can be wiped off, no matter what strain was used for pollination.

Is this some kind of problem? Does it mean the seed wasn’t totally mature? That would seem odd since they had 2 months to mature and no other strain under the same conditions can have the stripes wiped off...

If they pop you should be fine.
Rayi hit nail on head handling your seeds is just a chance for contaminants to get introduced. Keep them in a cool dark place till your ready to pop them. Even then best not to touch outer coating.
