Seedlings left in the dark for too long, way too tall

I saw they were sprouting before I left for work but unexpectedly, I ended up working a long day and they were left in the dark for over twelve hours reaching for light that wasnt there. I can support them till they thicken up I think but Im growing in a cabnet hydro system with limited space how is this early stress gonna affect the plants later? or am I better off starting new seed (the tallest stem is about 3 1/2 inches) thanx for any help on this I'm still learning as I go

I wouldn't give up just yet. As you said, you will probably have to support them until they get stronger. ;-)

thank you Ms.Fox I'm gonna see how they do before taking any drastic measure. I hope to get a camera and start a journal but funds are tight. thanx again sorry so slow but I'm new with computers as well as growing

When you need to transplant bury some of that extra stem. It will shorten the amount of plant sticking up and support the stalk. Just don't bury past any sets of branches.

Thanx I'm new too and I agree 420 is the best source of experienced info. and to Racefan Im growin hydro W/ rockwool cubes so no transplant,but I got some support to them and I'll wait and see the new leaves look healthy and full it's just those long long stems thank you again
