I wouldn't use a Na based carbonate to raise pH. Use a Ca or Ca/Mg based, like lime or dolomite. You could use wood ash, but be careful.

Miterid, one drop of dishwashing liquid, lukewarm water in a sprayer, hit once every 3 days 3times to break breeding cycle.
Using neem or miterid which is neem oil and liminoids in flower is not a great idea as it taints buds but in veg, go nuts, smash those lil bastards...

My granddaughter is bipolar and won’t take medication. But, some strains of marijuana seem to help her. I’m on a pension. And she smokes so much. It’s very expensive for me. So I have started this grow . I’ve never grown before and need all the help I can get. You all have given me wonderful advice. Heartfelt thanks to you all
