Spider Mites

Are spider Mites more common in organic soils or doesn't it really matter?

I would say less common in a true organic soil as the beneficial organisms will feed on the bad ones.

I just had a case of the little fugers. Im using FFOF but I used just a 'little' of soil I brought in from outside and sure enough...bam. MITES.

Captain Jacks spray (Spinosad) worked great.
get some in advance...its better to have it than to have to rush out and buy it when you need it. Its cheap too.
