Spimps Soil Transplant technique:
Take the loose soil and very dry stuff and scoop into the bigger pot. If there is too much loose soil, lightly mist it so it will compact slightly:
Put some soil in the bigger pot. Spray lightly to moisten it.
Set the smaller pot into the bigger pot where you want the transplant. Then backfill around the pot.
Remove the smaller pot and Viola, A perfect sized hole in the new pot.
Make a cup around the transplant, putting as much surface area on the soil as possible. Make sure to cup the stem to create a bubble.
Gently start turning the small pot over with with other hand until you feel the weight of the soil in the 'cupped' hand. If she doesnt slide right out, gently squeze the pot so she slides out. Use your other hand to gently pull the old pot off. The goal should be to have the upside down girl stay in one spot, while you pull the old pot up and off..
Using both hands, plant her in her new home. You can gently loosen the old soil to fluff it if you will. Add additinal soil if she is siting too high.
Water her in with ph'd water and your done!
