This is my THIRD grow doing things a bit differently with a few feminized seeds from the Royal Queen seed bank. I've got feminized Royal Highness, O.G Kush, Dance World, and a feminized autoflower Amnesia!

These were planted in a rapid rooter about a week before Christmas, and transferred to DWC on December 25, 2016.


I'll keep this journal updated throughout the grow with more information and pictures and would greatly appreciate comments, feedback and your thoughts ! Thanks for stopping by :-D

Quick update: Lot of growth noticed today and this past week . The pictures below will show these changes! My Amnesia auto flower is ALREADY showing nice progression into flowering, so i'll be switching it over to bloom nutrients and lights by weekend. REALLY excited for this one as it went SO quickly. My other plants will rock out in veg for a while.

If you may have noticed, I started this journal a little behind the actual grow start dates! This is because I hadn't had time to come here and upload everything! Now that everything is up-to-date, you can expect continuous updates from here until finish :-D! Any comments, support, and/or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

About a month and 5 days in exactly ! The pictures show the progress.

My auto-flower Amnesia has ALREADY start to bloom, and i'm actually somewhat clueless as how to proceed. Do I change the light cycle to 12/12? And do I change the light? Or does it continue through to process. Any help would be appreciated! If I don't hear anything, I'm going to go ahead and switch to 12/12, and change the light to 23w, 2700k CFL Bulb for Flowering.

Autos should stay on 24/0 or 18/6 the whole time. Dropping them to 12/12 can hurt yields. They all look really nice so far.

Im not familiar with CFLs but with HIDs they says its best to use the HPS throughout the entire grow as it gives off the enough of the blue spectrum to cover the first few weeks in veg then the red spectrum for the remaining flowering period. So maybe you should you switch over to the 2700k once they start showing signs of turning. Im no expert so im not 100% sure, some of the pro's can probably weigh in, or check out some of the journals where CFLs were used throughout the grow.

I havent used cfls for a while but i found a combo of each spectrum worked best. If i used 6 cfls i would run 4 x 6500s and 2 x 2700s in veg and vice versa for flower. Gave it a nice full spectrum with some boosts in the appropriate spectrums.

Day 44 of DWC:

I'm now a pretty good way through my cycle ! As you'll notice, my three females are vegetating gracefully. I'll give them probably another 45 days or so, then i'll transition to bloom!

As for the Auto-flower Amnesia, this plant is REALLY rocking out. I'm super impressed. In under 2 months, the buds are forming beautifully! I'm estimating it flowering about another 4-5 weeks, then i'll do a fresh water cycle, and harvest!

Day 53 of DWC ​

Hello my fellow Green Thumbs!

Just a quick little update of mostly pictures and a few facts. My babies (technically adults now, but always my babies) are fruitfully progressing!

As of February 5th, I switched my autoflower Amnesia strand over to its own little make shift grow tent where it will finish flowering, by itself, under a combination of about 5-6 23watt/6500k & 23watt/2700k lights. I've got these lights hitting the plant at just about every angle, from above, to the sides, and underneath. Every day, I notice a swift change. I'm guessing about 15 more days, and it'll be ready to harvest give or take.

Here's some bud porn of the Amnesia strand as it currently stands:

Nearing day 60, and with my Royal Highness, OG Kush, and Dance World all being feminized seeds, I'm in the final phase of vegetative growth, or at least what I can handle in my closet anyway ! These three plants have the rest of the closet to themselves and will be switched over to transitional bloom tomorrow and given however long they need to flower thereafter!

As for the progress of my final veg phase, here ya go !

Thanks for checking in, and a special thanks to those who helped me out with my light question in my previous post! I'm always interested in what people have to say about my grow, and especially thankful to those who offer bits of advice! This will be my first completed DWC, and it's with great strides, that I'm happy to finally complete a grow!

Day 59 of DWC ​

My three vegetating plants, Royal Queen, O.G. Kush, and Dance World made their vegetative switch this weekend and are rocking out under 2700k lights! No hairs yet, but I'm anxiously waiting

As for the Amnesia, it's REALLY rocking out. The bud formation is getting sick ! I'm thinking about another 10 more days or so and it'll be ready for harvest. I'll keep ya posted

Quick question: I'm used to using 2700k CFL lights, but as of lately, all I can find are 2700W LED. Do they have the same effect? Someone help, please!?

Day 66 DWC​

Things continue to roll along swiftly! I'm happy to say that I'm noticing little white hairs on my O.G Kush, and Royal Queen, and my Dance World is coming quickly behind. Happy flowering days are ahead for these girls

As for the Amnesia, as is nears day 70, the fruit of my labor is about to pay off. I plan to flush this with clean water, Monday 3/6 for a week, then i'll harvest !!!

Day 79 of DWC:​

All is well with my current grow! My Royal Higness, O.G. Kush, and Dance World are ALL off to a beautiful flower cycle and are showing an abundance of white hairs. I'll update these pictures in the coming days.

As for my favorite plant this season, the Amnesia is nearing harvest and is on its VERY last cycle now. This coming weekend, i'll flush for a week with fresh cold water, and then, ill harvest! I'm wondering if it's best to leave the plant in the dark for a period of time or just stick with the same light cycle? I've heard that by switching to 24/7 the yield could be bigger in the end. Yes or No?

Anyway, here's a few pictures of the Amnesia for now ! Any help would be greatly appreciated
