Hi all, outdoor northern grow in UK. My buds aren't filling out much and are quite fluffy.. ive managed to cover it with a see through plastic cover to protect from rain.. my worry is its starting to get cold now how much longer would you give it before cutting? Don't wanna lose it to frost etc

How cold? Might just be a long flowerer? I don't grow outside but I have a buddy with some plants in the same boat as you and and its been getting cold for a while now. I think they can take a fair amount of cold and have so far pretty well, you might just want to let them cook as long as you can till you think you are actually losing them, watch for bud rot. Your's look quite green still, I think they will tell you when they are really pissed and go really dark, or naturally go yellow/red like fall leaves do. I once saved and reveged a plant that had gotten abandoned outdoors till late November it was about as dark green purple as it could be when I found it. CHeers, good luck! :yahoo:

Thanks for replying mate, it's about 9c daytime temp. 5c nighttime. Took couple more pics of buds, there are loads of buds just need them to fill out..

Yep I'd say you are looking at normal progression of a outdoor plant. Let them go just as long as you can...and consider that you may not get them too much bigger before it's too cold for them to grow. You're gonna get weed, they should mature that way, just not size wise. That'd be what I'd be expecting, but I've been known to be wrong!
