UV lights?

Hi everyone,
I have been hearing that a UV light will increase the THC content as much as 28%, does anyone have a clue about this? What type UV? on a timer? how strong a light?

Anyone who has used UV on their plants share their results?

Imo, UV will add a bit more health/potency to a plant, but not 28%, maybe 5% at most. I've heard of people just putting in a UV light alongside their other lights, idk the wattage or anything. The UV light does benefit the plants though, that much I'm sure of

My lights have UV built into them and I only use them in the last stages of flower and they do help with frosty nugs

You want UVB for the grow, you can get some reptile UVB lights at a local pet store. Look up the grower Ottawa Green, he uses reptile UVB lights on the side of his LED lights.
