Water pump required?

I fill my 18 litre jug with water and cover it with a cloth so chlroine evaporates. I usually leave it for 4-6 days before using it to water my plants, is this an issue? Does water befome stale? Is it recommended to get a water pump to keep the water moving and "fresh"

Recommended for several reasons. #1 is that is does help speed up chlorine removal. Usually 24 hours does it. #2 is that roots must have plenty of oxygen and when we water our plants it should be done the right way so it helps force oxygen down into the rootball. This is why bubbling your water is a VERY good idea. It adds lots of Oxygen to the water and so to the roots. #3 it does keep water moving and fresh.
