What kind of bug is this?

I don't want to venture a guess. I found just this one. It had no other friends that I could find. I took the picture at least one hour before i saw the result. I went in and looked and there it was in the same spot. It had not moved in over an hour. So i removed it and crushed it.
How worried should I be?

Difficult to tell on that pic, could it be a fly that was too high to fly?

It looks like a thrip to me. Look up pictures of thrips on google. They even have the same dark spot on their backs. Are there any leaves on the plant that look like this:

Too big to be a thrip. Thrips are about 0.5mm long. 1mm at the biggest

check under the leaves , thats where they hide and you will see their larvae

I didn't manage to get a pic of larvae. These are the ones I had. Different strain maybe?

It seems pretty big. I will check under sides better before lights out. They only got a quick look. I dont see anyone else as of now.
