Will I have enough room?

Hey guys, i'm just wondering how much my plants will grow from the start of 12/12 cycle to harvest, just a rough estimate as i know many factors effect this, im growing Grandaddypurple clones in 70/30 coco/perlite mix. i have limited height between the tops of the plant and the bulb , i don't want to burn my buds but i also want to be efficient with my space ps in this photo they are wilting from a heat wave usually much more stretched out

You can expect your girls to at least double in height when you switch to 12/12... sometimes even more.

Good luck! If some of them end up running into the lights, just bend those branches horizontal... its better than whacking them.

Look into LST. Pipe cleaners and super cropping are your friend. GDP is not known for being a tall plant. Tie it down and spread them out and you will be fine but now is the time to get on it. Super cropping well into flower can be a lot more difficult if you are not experienced with it.

Yea i've used lst from a young age so they are almost as wide as they are tall, here's an updated pic. You think thats ok to 12/12? hoping for 10-12 zips (1 1/2-2 Oz Per Plant) which i think is reasonable since i have 800 true watts in there?

Still a lot of grow to go, but its certainly possible and that is quite a reasonable number to go for and if you really pack on some good bud weight, you might go a bit higher.
Yes, I would be tempted to flip the switch any day now.

Being Indica dominant it should be a short plant and may double in height at flower.

Grew a Querkle a number of grows back, DGP X Space Queen I believe. She was short and stout, stretched about 100%.

Oh so even the shorter strains can still double during stretch ect? definitely better hit that switch, i have plenty of height but i want to keep them at a nice distance from the hps save any burning ect as i'm not using an aircooled hood
