28 Gram's Cookies

Basic Info

• Strain: Girl Scout Cookies
• Soil: FoxFarm Ocean Forest
• Lighting: DIY COB board. 3x Vero 29 Chips, 130-265W (adjustable).
• Nutrients: FoxFarm Trio, Pro-Tekt (silicone supp'), Bud-Candy, Hawaiian Bud & Bloom
• Tent-Size: 36"x20"x63", 5ft² floor.

Tentative Schedule
For the first few days I'll keep them in those tiny soil cups, then I'll transplant them into 1 gallon fabric pots, and eventually into their final 5 gallon fabric pots. This is a short grow: 1 week in veg, 10 weeks in flower.

I legally picked up two clones and here they are just before putting them in small cups of soil.

All it takes is a pen and a few stabs

It took me about 2 hours to wire all the COB's together along with all the other electrical work (driver, fan, etc). Even though it was my first time putting together a COB board I think I did a decent job. I'm currently running them at the lowest setting, which is still very bright.

Day 3

Hey y'all, just wanted to make a quick update. They're currently on a 18/6 light cycle.

Post up some pics of the light when ya have a chance...looks pretty sweet.

Day 5
Transplanted them to the good ol' 1 galloners. Fabric pots, of course.

Day 6
Got a few new things: a USB-Powered PC Fan, an outlet strip with USB ports, some flexible ducting. It was an easy way to get some extra fresh air into the tent.

Day 10 - Final Transplant & Begin Flower Cycle
Here we are at Day 10, a big day for these cookies: They are now in their final 5 gallon pots and their light cycle is now 16/8. Tomorrow they will get 14/10, and then the next day 12/12. I only had enough soil for 3 gallons per pot.

Pro Tip: Crease/fold over the top of fabric pots to get them to keep their shape. Even better I put sticks on each edge where the fabric is folded for a more concrete square.

Day 12
No photos but today was the first day I gave them Fox Farm nutrients at 1/4 strength.
Also they are now officially in their 12/12 cycle. Did some good LST today too.

Day 14 - 2 Week Mark!
Looking great! Probably a few days from now they will have grown enough for me to stick some more hooks on stakes for more LST.
Currently 11" from the COB lights.

Also, I'd recommend those cheap $4 USB fans that you can pick up from 'Daiso' a Japanese dollar-store-type shop. Hook it up to a old USB block you have lying around and you're set!
