Archiweedies Is Back At It! 4x4 Tent, LED’s, Coco & Mephisto Genetics

Hey all, I am back to document another grow. I fell off the map a little for a few months. Mostly my last grow was a big disappointment. I tried dwc for the first time and I’ve determined that in my unnheated garage, there’s already too many environmental variables to add something as tricky as dwc.

So here’s the rundown:

Grow space : 4x4 tent in unheated garage.
Grow medium: Coco Coir
Strains: Tyrone (flowering) ~ 40 days
HubbaBubbaSmelloScope ( henceforth referred to as HBSS) ~30 days and just starting to flower.
24carat (birthday was 9-5-2018) she should replace Tyrone in her spot in the next 30 days.
Lights and fans: I keep a 24 hour light cycle with these autos. First time trying it and I’m not impressed. The lights are a cob led from BigSm0 on autoflowernetwork and a converted Mars 400w I think if memory serves.
The fans are just an oscillating fan and exhaust fan that has served me well.


So as you can probably see, my garden isn’t new. But I have found, the documentation process is one that keeps me honest and responsible for my grow. Also, I recently found it invaluable for using my old journal to help me date my current Tyrone strain. I had a light bulb moment, I guess you could say.

This journal will include updates from my entire garden, but the real focus is on my new strain 24carat. She’s all indica supposedly and a fast one too. So this should be a perfect little transition from me having no bud, to having more than I know what to do with.

Thanks for joining me on my journey Kismet! It’s nice to be back sharing and growing. If I’m being honest I went through a rather dark period in life recently. Being back here is helping me crawl out of that darkness. Glad to have you.

So Tyrone Special is crossed with greencrack and sourcrack. It was a limited run that Mephisto did and this was my last bean of her. I grew two before and this was the “extra” if I recall. Mephisto always throws in these extras. Only breeder I’ve dealt with so that’s why the exclamations haha. The strain is like a cup of coffee in that you have energy and creativity. I love it so much.

Man I realized I undersold Tyrone and why it’s so damn great. I failed to mention that despite having sativa like qualities, it doesn’t need the height or the time to flower. It’s stays under 3’ in my experience and is done right around what the breeder says which is right around 67 days. Perfect!

They are Hlg Qb's. Both are 260 watt boards.

Ahh I’m not up to date on the qb tech. Looks sleek.

Well I ordered a couple more of the autocob lights so I should have all my lighting needs covered. I’ve flowered with theses lights I currently have and did well, but I was just getting by and probably could have grown some bigger buds truly. I’m excited to see the difference.

In other news, I’ve discovered what appears to be some rust spots on Tyrone’s leaves. She’s got I would guess about 20 more days and either it’s rust fungus or too much nitrogen. I’m guess the latter as she has a couple leaves that are clawing as well.

No idea on the rust or too much N on the Tyrone. I started seeing some defs on my lower/middle fan leaves towards the end of flower on my blue dreams and added a bit of cal mag. Seems awfully high up in the canopy to be a def. Maybe the lights are a bit to close.

Shot in the dark here. My worst fear is i will give someone bad advice and they will eff their plants up lol
