Hard to argue with the testimony you guys give for sure. I decided to just give regular water to Tyrone and her flowers seem fuller already overnight. I’m convinced to back down the nutes even more. I’m Going under the assumption that your numbers are with RO water.

Well, I don’t have a way to test the actual power draw, but yes that would be fair to assume. The one thing though is that I converted a Mars II 400w fixture to use COBs so it actually has three of the leds. They are a little underdriven if I remember correctly so it isn’t a straight 55watts times three.

Long way of saying I’m probably closer to like 300watts power draw. Thanks Hootenanny for looking and you are most welcome to join in! I have grown four plants under the converted light and one of the individual cobs and had my largest harvest ever. Now I have one light per plant, as per the recommendation of builder of these lights, and I couldn’t be more excited!

Edit: by the way, if anyone is interested I documented the conversion process on the Mars II 400w on a different forum about a year ago. I’d be happy to share that link via pm.

Here’s a little camera time for Tyrone. She’s been packing on some weight in the last week no doubt about it. She’s small but every bit of her strain is present. Her smell is coffee and diesel.

So we had a little accident in the tent. Tyrone was being moved around and she got bent. Almost as if I karate chopped her main stem. As a result, I had to take her main cola early. It’s in a brown bag drying.

Meanwhile, HBSS is going crazy and if the buds fill up as well as Tyrone is I’m gonna be neck deep in bubblegum weed lol. How’s everyone doing tonight?
