Archiweedies Is Back At It! 4x4 Tent, LED’s, Coco & Mephisto Genetics

No idea on the rust or too much N on the Tyrone. I started seeing some defs on my lower/middle fan leaves towards the end of flower on my blue dreams and added a bit of cal mag. Seems awfully high up in the canopy to be a def. Maybe the lights are a bit to close.
Shot in the dark here. My worst fear is i will give someone bad advice and they will eff their plants up lol

I hear ya and that’s why I’m proceeding with caution. It’s not getting worse from what I can tell. She’s got dark green leaves and they almost look dusty. I figure she’s almost ready for a drink, all the pistols are turning orange or starting too, she is almost 20 days or so from harvest. Might just give water from here on out.

So I love my magical butter machine, although I don’t always get the best results. I do what most would, and start looking at where I might have some problems. Decarb has always been done @225 for 30 minutes in anoven turkey bag. Well that’s about to change.

I picked this up and now I’m confident I’ll be able to get the most medicine possible from my meds. Now if I can find some everclear in California lol

Your in coco i would feed all the way to the end. The last few weeks are when they really need that extra boost to put on some weight. If you think you over fertilized just back it down a bit. Don't know what nutes you are using.
Thanks Kismet for the advice. Here the thing: that’s the only plant I have that isn’t in coco. It’s in some potting soil I had that was inert. Vermisoil I think is what it’s called. Perhaps there is some fertilizer in that soil I used and that’s why she’s a little stunted looking.

Nutrient-wise I use Advanced Nutrient micro grow bloom at about 1.5ml/ltr, CalMag 2ml/ltr, and I’m trying liquid KoolBloom 1.5ml/ltr. In the past I’ve been heavy handed on nutrients but this time I’ve been rather conservative.

Edit: I also had some recharge laying around so I decided to use it all up this grow.

here’s a little update. This HBSS in the back right corner is a fighter man! I actually supercropped her yesterday as I was getting concerned about space. She’s easily... hold on let me just measure her... just shy of 4’ tall. Not to mention the 5gallon pot she’s in. Consider my curiosity resolved. I set out to grow one of these in a 5 gallon and the other two in 3 gallons of the HBSS strain. So far she is clearly happy with the extra 2gallons of soil.

As for miss Tyrone, the issue you see in the photos has slowed down or completely halted. I’d still like to learn what is going on, so please share any knowledge you guys might have so that I can learn from this.

Cheers guys, I’m gearing up for a day at the mall with my wife and daughter. .

Thanks Pdub! Long time no see man! Hmm. These LEDs must really be hungry for calmag. Being so late in flower and the fact it isn’t getting worse, what would your course of action be?

Make sure PH is in range, 6.0-6.5 is best for calcium uptake. Don't run really high ppm's. I'd drop the koolbloom until you know the issue is fixed. I always gave 3ml calmag when running AN nutes.

That’s a good idea with the Koolbloom. I’ll drop it ASAP. They haven’t seen ppm’s higher than 1400. That’s with tap water that I let sit for 24 hours and a starting ppm around 200. Should be right around 1100 after I drop Koolbloom. Perhaps I should hold there before adding any more calmag?

Don't be afraid to lower your ppm's, most strains don't need that much nutrients to grow to their genetic potential.
I usually go by the plant, if it seems like it is using nitrogen from the lower leaves, I’ll up the nutrients. Usually I adjust in 1/2ml increments. I feel like I’ve got the knack for nutrients in veg mode, but as soon as flowering starts... yea

The plants needs really don't change a lot in flower. It will use more Potassium and Cacium but about the same nitrogen. Phosphorus isn't used by the plant in any big quantity.

That’s interesting! So if let’s say flowering starts, what are you looking for that says I need more nutrients? I understand not more nitrogen right? More K and Ca. I have been just over fertilizing with phosphorus cause I thought that was what you do.

The big 3 nutrients found in cannabis tissue samples taken throughout the plants life is nitrogen, potassium and calcium. Cannabis plants will use more sulphur than Phosphorus and sulphur is a micro nutrient.

Wow, that definitely speaks volumes. Thanks Penny. I’ll be much more careful with how much phosphate I add. I’m gonna have to research something with more potassium for flower than phosphorus. The koolbloom has 0-10-10

Advanced Nutrients has a YouTube video on results from a bunch of tissue sample tests that are out there, it's very interesting, and seems to hold true.
Thanks I’ll look into that video Penny. Appreciate the wisdom.

I got my lights in and set up. I simply ordered two more of the leds I already had. The guy who makes these was having a special and I couldn’t refuse. He recommends four per 3x3 I believe so I have three and a Mars II 400w I converted with the same citizen bulbs he uses. I believe they are 55w each true power draw.

I told y’all about this one naughty plant that’s just shy of 48”. I actually super cropped her yesterday and when I woke up she was standing tall again!! Hell taller really haha. Anyhow I supercropped her again to wrestle her away from the lights and look at this stacking!!!

New lights are always so exciting ! Looking good Archi.

I run my nutes between 500 ppm to 700 ppm to good result been adding cal mag the last few weeks of bloom with the Dynagro stuff.
