I did a thing for a 420/Earth Day celebration.On 420 I dropped a Candy Cane auto in water and set it in a warm spot.
Today I mixed 2-1 Coco coir and Happy Frog soil conditioner, in a 3 gallon soft pot.
It is an experiment, so I could either fry it, or have dialed it in just right.
Since I only grow autos, Ocean Forest doesn't seem to have the right nutrients, at the right times.
This is probably just as hot, but has a benefit of already being inoculated with Mycorrhizae fungi.
The soil has some beneficial nematodes that I added.
For protection against the weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Beneath this mound is a root riot plug with a plastic dome on it.
I covered it to give some darkness, and help retain the moisture.

Yeah, those are leftovers from an Aero grow. I use that for catnip.
The air pump stopped working, so I used soil and it works great still.
I think this particular auto, Candy Cane by Crop King Seeds, will be a fun grow.
I am going to start two more autos and put my tent up soon.
I sterilized it, and am now keeping it quarantined in case I missed any eggs.
They have a short life cycle so it being down a month should ensure they starve to death.
I say adios to stupid sexy Flanders, and his thrips.
Mrs.A got me a random gift just because.
I've been wanting a decent pipe with a huuge bowl.
So she got me a kit from Amazon, pretty cool old style pipe.
It's like a church warden pipe, with a shorter stem.
Huuuge bowl, I filled it with some Sweet Trainwreck and am now feeling creative.

Candy Cane was almost to the top of her dome, so I fashioned another.
Just to keep the humidity for her stable, rh has been fluctuating from 33-55.
As soon as I started taking pictures I realized that there were no air holes.
Corn cob ends, make great hole punches for plastic bottles.
