Ok so let's have a conversation on pH....

I know we have a chart for soil pH and then a different one for hydro/soiless. I am using coco on a flood table with a res so I use the hydro pH table.

Here is where things get tricky... Well, for me at least... I have noticed what I call discrepancies/differences in the tables. I am not talking soil vesus hydro. I'm talking comparing hydro to hydro. Specifically Cal and Mag. If I look at growweedeasy.com they show nutrient availability in a certain range but check that against another hydro pH table and it will show another. Also talking about phosphorus, I have seen it be in different ranges from table to table. For me trying to fix Def., Its making hard to know where I need things to be for my girls.

So I would normally placed images in this post for everyone but I'm at work and just can't.

I am hoping that I'm an idiot and missing something obvious...

I have never heard anyone complain about AN. Canna is good don't get me wrong but I find many people that don't care for it.

They are looking mich better now. Good Job Brother! Wach that Stretch carefully. With my Autos, they increased Stretching to a Peak, and then slowly Stopped. Once you See their Stretch slowed down, you know they are turning into the finishing Line.

Hey DA! Thanks for coming by and seeing how the girls are doing. They are growing like mad about 1.5 inches per day right now. My light is maxed in the tent. Looks like the tent will be coming down and the light will be hung from the ceiling, Other option would be moving res out from under flood table. Looks like a project for this weekend.

How is the move prep coming along?

Thought I would give an update since its been awhile and lots of things have been going on.

I tell you what, this grow being my first has made me lose some hair! LOL, overall I feel things are going well though. I really appreciate everyone's help with this grow. Well lets go over some details shall we...

Environmental

Temps - 75 f
rH - 50%
Res Temps - 68-70 f
Light height - 24"
Box fan, oscillating fan, clip fan

Feeding

550 ppm
5.9 - 6.1 pH
Flooding twice a day for 3 minutes. One hour after wake-up and five hours before bed.

So the girls are getting much taller now days.... About 21" each at this point.

Got so big I had to take down the tent and convert the room over to there new home. Its nice to have more room but I need to add another carbon filter and fan to the mix, my 440cfm is not enough.

Little budlets are starting to form over all the girls and Im stoked!

Im still getting an inch of growth plus a day out of them so I have not changed over to my boost yet. As soon as they stop stretching I will be adding CannaBoost.

I have noticed some low humidity stress on the margins of some leaves. I have since asked Dee (Dehumidifier) to keep it a bit more humid in the room As soon as I flip them to boost I will lower the rH also to 45% or so and slowly lower as everything comes to a close. I plan on adding my PK 13/14 3 weeks before harvest.

Ordered a loupe today and a couple other handy things.

Grow room changes

I added this section because there is a lot going on here that maybe a new grower would find helpful.

- Purchased 2 quick disconnects for the garden hose I use for RO water. $5.00
- Purchased a garden hose flow meter. $19.00
- Looking to buy a new fan to add to the mix.

I have ran into a bit of a problem that I threw a temporary fix at.... The height of the girls are a difference of six inches. I ended up placing the three shortest ones on various stands to get the canopy even to the light. Since I am ebbing and flowing this sux. Having to take them down off there stands are a pain the ass. Suggestions please

Feeding

WW1 - 33.5"
WW2 - 32.25"
CC1 - 37.5"
CC2 - 35.5"

I started adding CannaBoost six days ago since we are making some flowers now. Overall WW1 is ahead of the pack producing some beautiful flowers. The other three are heading down the road to smokage also.

We may need to bring the nutes down a bit but wanted to offer some extra at this point. I raised the ppms a hundred on yesterdays res change. The smallest girl is showing signs of nute burn from the last raise in ppms. The three bigger girls are handling all I gave them just fine.

I did not think the autos where going to get this tall. They are still growing an inch a day if not more. The tallest girl (CC1) seems to have slowed a bit by growing only 1" over the last day and a half. In comparison the shortest girl (WW2) grew in the same time 2.25". My light is almost maxed out in height now in the room! LOL

My two that are in flower had a similar height issue with the main cola getting so much taller than the rest of the plant. (These were the plants that I didn't top.) Someone suggested bending, and it worked great! I just used some craft yarn and binder clips I had on hand - The binder clips attached to the edge of the fabric pots with the yarn looped through the metal handles. The stalk of my Blue Dream CBD was really thick, so that one ended up being a super crop instead of just a bend. Didn't seem to bother her a bit.

you say the temp in your tent is at 75° but i see a lot of leafs with symptoms of heat stres ,the curling upward of leafserrations...

do you take your measurements on canopylevel??? or at groundlevel or some place else ?
