Every time I click on attach files I just get that notice
I understand, but where are you trying to post the picture? Like on this thread? Or on profile posts? If it’s in profile posts you’ll need to add as a media file first

So I am brand new here and just on these msgs I posted my intro wanted to show some of my work don't no what that means save as media lol unfortunately not very good with technology more of an out side ki d of guy

I don’t have to do that either, but it’s another way of getting the pics to the forum. If I’m not mistaken I believe all contest we’re supposed to add then that way.

Just select gallery then add media , then members gallery , upload file , select your photos . Be sure and hit save !The camera in the post is to retrieve your pics to be posted !
I think you're right. I haven't entered any contests.
LOL !!! I'm waiting for that 1 plant I think is beautiful to enter. Some of these guys can take some really nice pics that I can't compete with. Some are good enough for magazines. I might be able to enter POTM or BOTM but I'm more intrigued by the Photo of the month as I love art. I have to learn more about taking pics to compete there.Fixed that for you

For contests and stuff,you'll need to upload to the gallery first, but for misc. pics, copy/paste does the trick.
Don't use the "attach files" button at all,unless you're entering a contest.
If you bypass the gallery,you're limited to posting 10 pics- If you upload to the gallery first, you can post as many pics as you want.

I'd be embarrassed to post my pics with those. They are not worthy enough for that crowd ... LOL.
Sad part is I have a pretty decent Fuji camera I paid about $450 for. I just need to get lighting & background & filters figured out & I should be able to get decent pics at least.
