I understand. I told her that there had been mold on part of it, and that I had treated it, but it was only for external use (and I marked the bag also). She still wanted it.
I am praying it will be all right.
WooHoo! I make a very potent stem soak with isopropyl alcohol, but you could use bud. Do you think that would kill the nasties?

You can strain and use as is, or evaporate and add to any other carrier.

If you are talking about the mold, many things kill mold, but that's not the point. The problem are the toxins produced by mold, and those toxins persist after the mold is dead. These are called mycotoxins and are a nasty health hazard. There are different mycotoxins produced by different molds.

Again, there are two different things going on here... 1) how best to extract cannabinoids from the bud material (i.e. oil or solvent), and 2) how best to deliver the medicine as a topical that will seep into the body.

Isopropyl alcohol isn't a good solvent, because you can't ingest it (it's toxic). If you are extracting with isopropyl, and then evaporating it off, you will still be left with a small amount of it in the finished product. The best alcohol to use is high-quality, organic food grade ethanol. If not that, Everclear grain alcohol. However, alcohol does seep into the body some when applied topically, and this is generally not a great idea. So, oil-based preparations are better.

If you really want the topical preparation to deliver the medicine into the body, then use high-quality, pharmaceutical-grade DMSO. Care must be exercised with DMSO, because whatever molecules are in your mix, they will be taken into the body. In fact, DMSO is a solvent, so you need to be careful about whatever it comes into contact with.

😂 Here is my new $71 USD indoor (EDIT) light hanging frame, by the Fred Flintstone "We Don't Need No Stinking Bullet Level!" Construction Company 😂

He seems like a VERY nice man! And he seemed honest. And he showed up when he said!
Only, I do not believe we are ready for NASA yet (EDIT) but it should at least hold lights high enough to do photos, for when it is time.

Quality Flintstones Construction.jpg

I wanted it maybe 6" higher than that, but that should be good enough for photos, and it will give me plenty of warm storage for all of the cobs, aleluyah~~~ :slide::slide:

I'm confused, Med. What the heck are we looking at here? It looks like you've set up a bamboo frame inside a room of your house. I must guess this is a big tent, not a greenhouse. :scratchinghead:

Oh, sorry!
The problem is that the old plastic frame hung the lights a bit low. I thought if I were to "raise the bars" so to speak, I could have sufficient overhead to grow photos.
They do not do 2x4's here, but rather sticks of bamboo.
Hard to explain their system, but the lady with the varicose veins brought her friend to do the job, because he is honest, and will not steal (which is the only way to go here).
So, I asked him if he could please build me a frame to hang lights from, to replace the plastic hoopdies, and this is what he built me. 😂

I want to grow autos the next grow, but after that, it will be nice to have the option for photos, so I thought, "As long as I am redoing the greenhouse, I might as well raise the light hangers, in case I get time to do photos later...."

WooHoo! I ABSOLUTELY ❤️ the bamboo structure!
