Do I start counting flower from 12/12 or sign of sex?

I have grown before but never indoors. I recently moved back to Seattle so I decided to start a couple indoor grow. I bought seeds from a seed bank. And they say 65 days of flowering does that mean from 12/12 or signs of sex

Most folks go by when you can see a flower starting, but the "estimates" they have on the strains are just that, as so many variables they can be done in that time or two- three weeks after that number so it is just a approximation bascially.
