Do you plan on using nutrients? It won’t be necessary anytime soon just trying to understand your set up and grow style.

What water source will you use? Do you have ph up/down ? Do you have a way to check ph?

Do you have a timer for light? (I know this may sound like a dumb question but you’d be surprised lol).

Seeing as how you’re starting with one plant I would recommend looking into training. There are tons of options but for your first grow look at Low stress training and screen of green. I honestly find the scrog much easier to train if you have the resources to build one.

..... That’s all I can think of for now mate.
Looking forward to this. Enjoy the process. :Namaste:

I have been setting it outside since the weather has been nice I do not have a ph tester yet buti will have one for the soil and water soon

I do have nutrients (foxfarm) not used any yet (not sure when to start using) but I did include some healthy bacteria and micorrhizae for root structures (mikrobs) it did pop this morning or over night I checked last night and nothing I'm not gna lie I was getting worried she was gna make it

I will be moving it inside and it will be on a 18/6 cycle with a fan and adequate airflow not sure when but I would like her to enjoy outside as long as possible

Great sounds like a great set up! I don’t think you’ll need to use nutrients for a while just making sure you were prepared for when the time comes :).

Looking forward to your journal :cheer:

Do not start nutes yet. I usually start around week 4 but we will see how they look. While they are seedlings keep the soil moist. Enjoy the process my friend it’s going to be a fun ride. :cheer:

They’re good. I ended up running 2 after the flip. Then bought two more of a different style to compensate on the sides. 4.5’x8’x8’

Before the side additions.

You can see how everything grew straight to them.

I went a tad lower then they recommend. Someone on the reviews said 16” was primo, so that’s what I ran for awhile.

Based on your experience with these lights what size room and how many plants would you grow with 3 1500w

Probably a 4-6’x8-10’ with them positioned left to right. 1at the 2-3’ mark, 4-5’ mark, and the other at the 6-8’ mark. They are best at 24”-36” (Veg) for about a 4’x6’ realistically, and at 16-18” (Blm) a 2’x3’.
I ran both switches the whole grow. They put out very little heat, if at all.

They do get dirty, but you can easily remove the screws and pull the glass (yes glass) out and clean it.

If I could do it all over again, I would have spent a bit more and gotten a better setup from Marrs or Timber though.

I hated having to buy 2 more lights, but I just don’t think it was enough. They blurple gets annoying as hell too.

Just playing both sides. Great bang for the buck, but if money isn't a big thing, and you haven’t bought the 3 already, I’d spend a bit more $$ and get a bad ass rig from Marrs or another sponsor on here. I was just looking at them yesterday because I’m most likely going that route for this next grow. Probably just use them to Veg or as backup.

That what I have trying to get a room together for my lights and not sure how big I should go with 3 1500w lights
As far as size... how long do you want to veg? (How big of a plant do you want)

4.5x8x8 - 6 plants - 3.5 months veg - 7 weeks on 12/12. Probably over 4’ tall.

Good rule of thumb is 2sqft per plant.
