Heavens Shores - Bill's 2022 Grow: Come Meet Howie! Show Us Your Grow Too - Bring A Pic

All caught up @Bill284 ! Lovely looking babies. Working on that bit myself at the moment. Stoked for your greenhouse build! Take your time and just do it right. It will be an amazing space for them AND for you. A well deserved retreat space. Something to consider for future improvements is a cover to be able to do light deprivation. A lot of growers start earlier in the season and get multiple harvests outdoors in a season. Seems like your setup would be a good candidate for a light dep cover. Overstock or recylced vinyl from billboard banners are an inexpensive way to get a heavy duty cover.

Howie is living the dream! :circle-of-love:
Good morning Baked :ciao: hope your having a nice weekend.
I'm trying to figure out how to put a light inside.
But I thought about that darkness idea.
Need a hugecass tarp.
So nice of you to drop by my friend.

Stay safe

Good morning Baked :ciao:
My first indication that you might be very stoned...good morning at 11pm.

Solar LED string lights. Relatively inexpensive and can provide plenty of lumens to keep things in veg. That's what I should have done for at least another month with my outdoor clones this year.

VERY big tarp indeed!

So nice of you to drop by my friend.
Absolutely amigo! My apologies for falling behind. Trying to be better at keeping up with others' grows. So easy to get distracted and then fall behind. No matter what I have tried, I am always behind on this site.:passitleft: I'll be puffing on some Trainwreck shortly and then get my lazy ass outside to organize and cleanup in the backyard. Blessings to you all amigo.

How did the yard work go?
Question for you.
I'm interested in this solar lighting you speak of.
Brilliant idea.
I found this but its only 5 watts total I think.
I'm sure there is something better.
Did you have anything in mind I could adapt into the greenhouse.
No rush.
Relax for the night. :bong:

I was checking on solar lights.

Why wouldn't this work? Seems fine to these eyes. It doesn't take much light to do what you want. And solar, it's as fireproof as it gets! Lol. I like the adjustable angle and it looks as if it will toss a wide beam. Wonder how much wattage their 4400 battery puts out?

Hope you feel better and yes wife first then world haha that light looks cool would it be strong enough?

I'm not really looking for a grow light with strength.
I'd need about a 600 w solar panel and storage for energy.
$3000. Is to start.
But probably 5 k with ac and fans etc.
Just don't want them in the dark so long.
A couple those should be ok.
We see, I asked Baked for ideas.
Talk soon.

How did the yard work go?
Oooooffff...what a day. Didn't get as much done as I would have liked honestly. That tends to be a common phrase for me these days. Moving slow and trying to cope with limitations. But at least I crossed off a few to-do list items. I'll be back at it, slowly but surely today and for the rest of the week.
Question for you.

Sorry for the delay. Here's what I had in mind.

These are not too bright but should be bright enough to extend veg time. Shop lights would be a good option too. But you would likely need to run a couple full size panels and a battery or two for storage. I don't think it would be necessary.

I got these from Costco (last year)...and apparently I just found these as an item on the to-do list that never got done. :passitleft:
