I'd say those babies are done. But like they said, Trich color tells for sure. But I didn't use to use a microscope & I would have harvested now. I'm 90% sure they are done.

how long do you guys suggest for a drying period? 7 days? Then dry trim?

pretty much ideal. depending on conditions.

think so too. he's pretty much on top of it if not there now.

Thanks guys, very excited to see the least.

I have actually ran out of nutes so it has to be finished soon lol I was thinking maybe 5-7 day flush then 48hrs of darkness before chopping?

Do you guys believe in flushing?

Im using all bio bizz nutes and light mix soil. So I've read that you don't need to flush when using organic nutrients. In my case I have no option as i have ran out.

Hey jdawg,

Nice plant, double congrats on getting here..first for the harvest and second for finding 420 Magazine!!

About your question - Flushing the grow media like soil or coco can remove built up salts from bottled nutes, but flushing does nothing for the flavor or taste of your produce. Follow this link for the science behind it all...... InTheShed No flush club excellent info there.

I’d say your girl is ready for the chop........ but we want you to see her trichs up close and in person so you will learn what you are doing!

Also after the chop I’d recommend bud washing and dry hang a minimum of 4 hours. Use fans to move air but not pointed directly at your produce. Maybe consider splitting your harvest in half and do dry hang for 7 to 10 days with jar curing and burping with part of your crop and use other half for low & slow fridge curing. Here’s a link to the Harvest forum.......... Harvest Preparation & Curing where you can read up on low & slow, bud washing, cobs and other curing threads. Don’t worry If threads are long just read the first page or two and that usually will be enough to get you rolling.

Hey I somehow didn't get any notifications until 013 just posted I also would just harvest it at like 2-3 minutes before lights on, I bet you have amber trichs and although now the scope comes tmmr it may get more couch lock while waiting for the scope. The going trend lately is no flush and for you it may be really amber in 5-7 days like 50% amber possibly. Honestly idk if I would wait for the scope or just harvest personally

Its coming Tuesday.....hopefully I cannot wait to harvest my ladies. They are smelling very nice

If they are smelling very good now - its time to chop. One of the ways I tell the crop is ready is smell along with trichomes. They look done to me and you verified with the smell comment.

For drying depends on conditions. Higher RH in the room it will take longer.

I bud was branches then hang dry on a line. Drying typically takes 3-4 days after washing. If not washed I hang the whole plant upside down for 5-7 days.

Dont wait for branches to snap that's too dry. If you trim them when they arent quite dry you can put the flower in a card board box over night. If you let them get too dry you can ruin them.
