How long til amber ya think?

Any guesses on how much longer til amber? Day 60 since 12/12. Grandaddy purple clone (blimburn).

I know pics arent great but best i could do. And i think you can see some trichomes clearly.

This is the one i posted a pic of in other thread yesterday (or day before). I lowered nutes yesterday from 700 to 300ppm bc ph was dropping. Ph still dropped. I think, like u said, its just a daily battle. Shes in dwc

This is the ldy that had nute lockout rigjt after stretch and caused me to buy an ro system, so shes been surviving since then. Thats why shee looks so tired

Oh, and her ppm went from 300 to 215 overnight and ph dropped to 5.4. I bumped ph up today and will likely give a fresh res again tomorrow or monday. Im also considering giving a couple hours more dark time to help w ripening but dunno if that really works.

hard to say, last pic is too blurry, might help to prop your phone or camera, tap on center of screen to focus, then shoot.

generally speaking if shes still spitting out fresh, fluffy, white or yellow pistols then she’s still bulking up. when overwhelming majority of pistils turn dark and crinkle in then it’s time to watch trichs for ripeness, an exception to the generally speaking part above is…. sometimes certain strains or growing conditions can cause foxtailing

Crappy pictures but you already have amber. Your GDP may have early amber or could be close to finish can’t tell ripeness from crazy trichome close ups. Need to see a clear picture of a bud.

You have to be patient, I just finished a grow, Zombie Kush from Ripper seeds trying to get the tricombs amber, I went 8wks and they wren’t all amber, the smoke is smooth and strong, be patient, they’ll turna

I don't know if this is a common behavior but I've experienced "white stigmas" and I have seen it stated in another forum - when cannabis foxtails, it may continue to generate new, white stigmas even though trichs are degrading ("maturing").

What I saw was that, for the plant that fox tailed, there were some red stigmas but white ones kept popping up, right up until harvest day.

Those colas look nice and bulky so you're in pretty good shape. Mine looked like…dog shit. Seriously bad. Instead of being able to trim off the buds I ended up just "stripping" the flower off the stems. It was truly no bueno. :-(

Ive always tried to base ripeness by trichomes and am deficient in knowledge re: judging by red hairs %. Im also guessing the foxtailing could deceive a novice such as myself. Any opinions (on ripeness/harvest, not foxtail) are appreciated.

Roger delta niner, you are clear for landing…. I’d say for the most part she’s done.

with that said its captains choice, she could run another night or three cutting lights to 10 on 14 off, there’s partial harvest taking upper colas leaving mids & lowers to ripen, all of this depending on your personal preference of early harvest = more speedy upbeat stone whereas late harvest is more couchlock

Amber gives you couch lock if you want to get stuck to your couch. Lmao personally I don't do the Amber I don't want to go to sleep if I don't want to get stuck to where I don't want to do nothing. I like my good energetic buzz. But to each its own closer you get to harvest and ripening time the more amber you get have you droughted any at all?

Sometimes foxtailing is good hell it packed a bunch extra weight on my buds you got good foxtail and you got bad from what I'm seeing of yours is good foxtailing keep up the good work!
