We have survived this one! Ladies are little weak, but got fed well today! The grow space hit 44f night after night, I'm glad it was able to keep them from freezing up in here. Worried papa.

Veg tent wasn't happy before the temp drop, I was experiencing issues with the bottom end of nutrients, maybe a slight pH issue because of janky meters. So they were fed about a one day before temps dropped out. Not since then. Today is the first time I've opened the tent. Beautiful @Mars Hydro 4x8 held temps pretty well the space hit 44°f several nights but the tent only dropped 48°f internally. These ladies are about to be fed. They truly look pretty good for how ugly it was last time in here!

These photos were right before the new nutrients, you can see some major deficiencies, probably even pH lockout because as we all know meters suck.

I am a firm believer if you know pH is an issue for you, triple check that shiiiiiiiiit

Sad i know. But that's what's amazing about growing! You never know whatcha gonna get! In the last year I've seen 115f and -10f. That's a big swing for a year round garden. That's what has me thinking of options for a more stable environment. It would be nice to have some ground scanning equipment to see if I have a natural cave to grow in, or root cellar from the original owners. I am digging into a geo thermal greenhouse idea. Rabbit hole here I go.

A new day. Ladies were fed in the grotto yesterday. They each slurped up about a full gallon. I went to go check on them this morning, climbed in the tent and ripped the door shut to maintain the heat that had built up in the beautiful 4x8 @Mars Hydro tent. It gave me time to check each one out, pull some bad foliage. The foliage was beat up due to the issues I had prior to the freeze. Pretty sure something went bad in the nutrients I had been feeding. It was bottom 4-6 ozs of gallon bottles. Soooo if you don't use it you lose it! Gonna start feeding a tad heavier to keep bottles from hanging around to long.

Rearranged the tent, bent some branches, will get the vac in later to clean up some debris.

Overall they look happier. That's the goal!

Incredible garden my friend.
Just curious you have a smoke detector in there right? :Namaste:

2 detectors 3 extinguishers cameras also detect smoke or c02 alarms
I ask so many people it’s hard to remember all of them. :Namaste:
I was pretty sure you were on the ball.
Pardon me asking again.
That heater gave me pause.
I’m impressed at your readiness. :thumb:
It’s something you never want to use.
But so important.
Take care my friend.

I appreciate you bill! Your story made me want to be prepared. The heater wasn't the best choice, but I wasn't able to get the large heater installed this season. Lucky for me I'm insulated well. Weather has been a bit more brutal every season.

I used to keep the extinguisher next to the tent, that was stupid. So they all are mounted inside entrance door to garage

Thanks my friend.
Was a tough time for me but everyone here was so supportive.
One thing I want to mention.
The fire took out the lights and filled the room with smoke.
I was grabbing fire extinguishers in the dark.
Remember the location.
Make sure everyone knows. :Namaste:

Stay safe
