susan grew .25 inches
dre grew .75 inches
pac did not grow vertically

things are looking nice buds look to have gotten slightly bigger , this is only the 2nd night of not having at least 1.5 inch of stretch in 17 days

added a nice powerful honeywell portable fan i got for 17$ on sale its excellent moves a huge amount of air in a very very short time.

used half the reccomended dose of miracle grow ultra bloom 15-30-15 after talking to a friend in agriculture who deals only in liquid ferts pesticides fumigants etc and he said its decent just dont overdo it and make sure to allow 3+ weeks for flushing to ensure good taste. as i am not greedy i will be using half the reccomended dilution+400ml extra water. it may be too diluted but im scared to burn the shit out of them and kill them after coming this far.
please no hate posts bout the miracle grow i know its not the greatest but the only store in my town is a walmart i do not drive and have no credit card to order online .

anyways everything is looking nice the lower set of leaves did get a tiny bit more yellow but barely noticeable.

also bought 2 of those hanging type shoplights that mechanics use and you can remove the cages bought a 4 pack of cool white CFL 23w 1600 lumens im going to hang them to the left and right of the hps about mid plant height.

i can clearly see glistening stuff on the pistils and around them

July 31 lights on

bud sites have noticeably grown in size

vertical growth

susan(sativa) grew .25 inches
dre grew(sativa) 1.75 inches
pac(indica) grew 1 inch

not watering until tomorrow night probably saturday as i watered 1 cup of water tuesday and 1/3 cup of ultra bloom mixed at double reccomended dilution wednesday.will check soil moisture before lights off at noon

other than that very happy with the growth i saw in the last 24 hours very very excited to see todays, tomorrow !
all pistils seem to be getting really shiny im assuming thats some trichs forming my loupe needs to hurry up and get here so i can see

also it seems the temperature in the closet at lights off can get up to 86 at light level. string on thermometer is not long enough to reach canopy but theres excellent fans there so it should be cooler.
gonna try keeping the a/c on 30 mins longer and have it turn off at 730 am maybe that will keep it a degree cooler till 11:45am when i turn light off. removing 15 mins of light per week to help move things along.
lower bud sites are developing very nicely with the added 1600 lumens cfl's 23w

counted bud sites with white hairs , anything really close to another site i did not count as 2

August 1 lights on

i see some very nice bulking up happening and white hairs are all reaching for the sky like i plugged the plant into a light socket or something lol..

i can clearly see thrichomes all over the bud fan leaves and pistils using an unknown strength weak magnifier

there is slight cool feeling deep in the soil im thinkin i may be able to go this light cycle without watering and maybe water at lights off noon.. will decide for sure before bed.

leaving the a/c on 30 mins extra does appear to have helped keep the closet 2 degrees cooler at least yesterday it did ill see again tomorrow

not a whole lot to add today really.. added a smoke alarm to the closet itself just for peace of mind on top of the one already in my bedroom

yeah every night seems like christmas morning cuz i get to see them after the dark period lol...
i did but im trying to keep them under 3 feet and small so i wasnt going to transplant them anymore but i water them every 2.5-3days
im scared of nuting the shit outta them so i used some once and i probably will in 2 weeks again and then no more till harvest

hey hey heres the input for august 3 at lights on

pac(smallest) grew .5 inches vertically the other 2 did not grow vertically

sugar leaves beginning to show "sugar" to the naked eye on the top 1/4 of all 3 plants.

i see some very nice bulking up taking place for all 3 ladies

im takin a guess that by this time next week i will be unable to see stalk on the top 2/3 of pac
will be including nice trichome shots when my 40x loupe gets here hopefully soon.


not a whole lot of stuff to add , noticed the very bottom set of fan leaves are turning yellow thinking bout taking them off but the rest looks a+

did have a slightly off situation arise today my mom(who i rent my house from) found out and flipped about house insurance not covering if theres a fire. i have this about as safe as i can with 2 smoke alarms 1 in closet 1 in my room and a fire extinguisher out by my dresser .
anyways hopefully nothing comes of this but if it does

yeah but u know its odd , i really dont notice when im sitting down with them but when i look at the far pics on here holy shit they really are beginning to fill in . im thinking pac(the smallest) and indica i think ? will not have visible stem by this time next week

i am most pleased with being able to see trichomes with naked eye. and even more pleased looking at 8x magnification man my sugar leaves are gonna be just covered in them they already are just very tiny.

When using the Loupe do you look at flowers or leaves ? I need to order one

i look at pistils, calyx's , sugar leaves(cola leaves) and fan leaves. ive read fan leaves dont produce trichomes but theres definately a few on mine , mind you i didnt grow these normally i wanted them under 3 foot and its unknown strain \

check ebay you get one from 40x with led light for $3.50 free shipping from hong kong thats what im waitin on

measured cola length

pac- 3 inch
susan 2 inch
dre 2 inch

i expect pac to get larger fast as the under buds rise to meet the base of the cola therefore extending cola

after reading several posts regaring defoliation i decided to remove the bottom 4 fan leaves of each plant each was about 15-25% yellow for the bottom 2 and 10-15% yellow for the top 2 that i removed

hopefully this does not effect them negatively

can see more and more trichomes starting to take shape i can already see some mushroom heads forming on some of them under 8x magnification , even on the edge of the remaining fan leaves

most likely watering in 24h or in 11.5 hr at lights off

Looking really good! I bet you're right on pac to me it looks like she's filling out. Love how you name them. Got my loupe ordered! Thanks for the advice. How did the defoliation go? I've read it helps the plant focus on excisting bud sights. Very cool.

well i didnt notice any difference during the day period will be interested to see if they react at all to losing the bottom 4 leaves.
im going to water tonight and probably nutes tomorrow night as that will have been 7 days since last feeding.
they are not stinkin yet unless u smell them closely but i imagine after seeing all the trichs that have formed i might have some smelly stuff on my hands shortly

ill update pics and measurements in about 7 hours after i turn lights on
