So of course today on 18 hours notice we had a scheduled 7 hour power cut. Cheers Stunger for the hex!

Just one tent in flower so decided to save the $190 on the jenny.

The OG Kush the headline grow in this journal, final trim is going to be complete in the next hour or two. As there was no power the builders of the house next door couldn’t work. No power. So half of them came over to trim. I also have 6 children 7 years or under sitting on cushions watching a movie next to the trimmers. Sweet. Any asthma resultant in later life ain’t my fault

The 7 year old building site girl is taller than L obvs. But we have a chest freezer for ice and big stuff and the poor girl is so skinny she couldn't lift the lid. L has been doing that for a year and she’s only 4 now. So sad. & Co is cooking dinner for everyone, saw a bunch of king prawns and crabs and stuff. The builders just built themselves a new house.

The steel roof thing is just a shack framed with young tree trunks and nail gunned/cable tied together. Think they’ll live on site (that land isn’t owned by either of us. We want to buy it but the guy wants crazy money) anyway yeah apparently worried about steel theft but then I guess more valuable and removable material, tiles and fittings will need to be delivered. All good they’re nice people so I guess they get a welcome to the neighbourhood bbq tonight. I honestly can’t see anyone nicking their stuff. They’re lit up by our CCTV and have a senior Judge and the husband a mayor the other side.

Less than a pound of OGK I reckon. Pessimistic.

The builders are 50/50 male/female, normal in SE Asia - way less normal in the UK! Anyway one of them is really tall for a Thai. Very striking woman, early/mid twenties. Not spoken to her but its a country values the way you look more than most, she could work in a nice shop on the makeup counter (a prized job for young Thai women - so & Co says as she worked the busiest best department store counter in Bangkok ) or she could go make 3x the money working straight up in a bar/restaurant.

Its possible she’s not quite all there. Its common here as I found out last night.

The Hanger on from the village, tries to talk English to me sometimes but can’t get past “Papa.. Papa” which ai hate. He hasn’t learned “vacuum” yet so I gesture and go “vroom vroom” Anyway he pays & Co yo get three meals a day at our place and shower, swim, use wifi etc. whatever.

Last night for about 20 minutes & Co is on the phone, loudly, formally and our address being given and I catch on its the cops. Then i hear his name Phil. The kid I was always thought was constantly high on our popcorn. He’s 20 so whatever. That’s the age here. Nah.

He has a brother here apparently. The other side of the most police heavy traffic circle/roundabout in all of Asia. He doesn't have a licence/helmet nor a bike with tax. Nor has he ever ridden that far (about 2km - 1.6m) here before in 6 months.

In his wisdom he pulls up a Traffic Fine Central and asks for directions to his brother’s house “Hi I need to get to my brother’s house, his name is I dunno, Prawit Thonung” or whatever. Just a Thai name. The cop is like WTF? Its a busy traffic intersection at rush hour. He doesn’t know any Prawit Thonung! Its one of the most built up areas on the island. 50,000 people

Here it gets worse, so his Thai isn’t standard Thai. Is southern Thai. Its not just an accent its whole different words. Its the busiest intersection in Phuket and the cops don’t want to be there so they’re all focussing on the weird kid asking funny questions. Apparently they abandoned any pretence of managing traffic flow round the roundabout and half a dozen cops converged on the distraction. By now I’m downstairs listening to the call and & Co only ever uses speakerphone. I hear our address again and then “Chai, Kuhn Nicolas” (yes) I’m like a) why am in involved in this and b) how do they know I exist

Turns out it gets worse.

Phil is a bit “special” has some learning difficulties and wasn’t meant to have attempted a rendezvous with his brother in the first place. Eventually the senior cop having established where we live and we are people in good standing demands that someone come and pick the lunatic from his traffic circle where ai imagine there were now 5km tailbacks

& Co having explained the situation (“oh you didn’t know he have problem his brain, he bit stupid but nice boy” - bless ) yeah she burst out laughing. “Stupid boy but police OK they laughing as well at the end”

All of which is a very long way of saying the OG Kush in solos came in at 486g or basically 1g per watt,

Pretty poor. Lost it in veg. More light required.

Letting them pick up a little humidity for an hour or so as it got down to 48% in the dry room over night. A week in the Grove Bags and then I’ll send them off for testing in Bangkok.

The Cheese seems to have been lost. I think all the Purple Punch got mixed and I know which is the Cheese. It was always really red/rust coloured. Think there’s 140g of it. She was a goodish sized plant - the not Barney Farm purple punch was not a 140g plant. The Banner did great at 97g though Oh but that other banner wasn’t murdered with neam! She was a monster. 400g easy I reckon.

Still we go again, just upped the light to 60% on the next wave - want to get them flipped in 10 days or so.
