Hi @LEDRF, I'm very impressed by the technical details of the "Perfect Sun 500", is there anywhere a grow report with this panel?

At the moment I grow with a Mars II 900W (~380W real consumption) but I'm not so happy with the penetration and with the heat that this panel producecs.
Are there any comparations of the Perfect Sun 500 with other LED-Panels?

Also, could you pls. pn me the best price for germany? For the "Perfect Sun 500", if You ship to Germany.

I would be very happy to start my next LED-Grow-Test with Your "SP 500" panel :)

(my english is not the best, sorry for that :phew: )

Same spectrum. Dwarf Star uses intense 3w diodes and different double lens set up. It actually covers 3.5x3 feet. The 500 covers 3x3. However, the 500 has a bit more penetration because of 5w leds .

LEDRF, do you intend to bring out a light that will work sufficiently in a 4'x4' tent? The Dwarf Star seems like it is close. Also, I see that the PS 500 is quoted as being able to be up to 19" from plants, how close do you advise placing the Dwarf Star? Is it 20 inches like the PAR reading in the video shows or could we get closer?

You could get to 18 inches depending on the strain. If you wanted to fully cover 4x4 with super high intensity, I would run two dwarf stars.

Still two is only 460w. And two would only cost $778

The 500s offer better penetration, so even for 3 foot tall plants, those bottom nugs will be better. But the Dwarf stars cover a little more square feet. 10.5 square feet per light vs 9 square feet per light. It just depends on growing style and area size, really.

Instead 8 made the 500 and the Dwarf Star as cheap as I possible could with the business going bank rupture. :)

Come on LEDRF, give yourself a jerk :) some % discount and will order immediately.
As you know, I have to pay the freight to Germany, but also the import duty.

.... a little bit more bank rupture doesn't make a difference :) :)

I hadn't read the specs on the Dwarf till today, I like what you have created. Decisions or just get both, the 500 and the Dwarf...

NKOTB, that is the price I was shooting for, but it didn't work out.

In my previous post, I meant bankrupt.

I cannot compromise quality, so I cannot get it less expensive. There are lights out there that cut a lot of corners to get prices super low, but you also get a light that breaks down soon and has a high failure rate. You also end up with a light that will not come close to the par readings I get from 2 feet away and 3 feet away and 4 feet away, which means the buds at the bottom of the plant will also do well, if the plants are open up, such as with bowl training.

Right now the Dwarf Star only ships to US and Canada.

I do hope to get a retailer/distributor in UK for the PS 500 and PS 1000.

If anyone in the UK is interested and has experience, let me know.
