Reveg to save time?

I'm gonna grow some regular Mama Thai from Seedsman. Would it be quicker to put them into flower early, reveg after sex is determined, or just wait till a pre-flower shows? I want to do a scrog with a couple of long flower Sativas. The other will be Amazing Haze.
it is my experience that sending a plant to the bloom tent for 7-10 days to determine sex and then spending another 7-10 converting back to vegging, wastes 2 weeks or more of time that could have been spent in veg getting much bigger. Also, usually during this time in veg, you would have been able to easily determine male from female, without all the jumping through hoops and causing two scenes to determine something you are eventually going to see anyway. Then there is the stress factor to consider with a plant that has been put through this trauma... and I ask why is it necessary? Just wait... you are going to be waiting a long long time with this long running sativa anyway... why get in a hurry just to determine sex?
