Nice progress so far Rob. I'm going to take a stop in your previous log, but until then, how did you like the HSO Blue Dream? That's what I'm working with too, almost 3 weeks from seed. Anything I need to watch out for with her?

One thing I noticed was how long your seeds took to pop compared to mine. Do you think over heating caused it to take longer to come thru the shell? I take a paper plate, wet a paper towel and fold it in half, place seed (just one) and fold it in half again. On the plate it goes, and inside a gallon ziploc bag (keep it open). I put all that inside a towel and leave it on top of my reservoir (5 gal bucket) with my lights on 24 hours at around 36" above the towel. Keeps my tent temp at 80, but keeps the seed dark.

48 hours later the seedling is outside of the shell in the paper towel. 36 hours I can catch it and plant it, but at 48 hours it's outside of the shell. It germinated just fine once I planted it tho, and grew nicely until I fucked it up and had to start over 2 weeks later. Using the same method and with only 36 hours in the bag this time, it came up just fine. Might help in the future determine if your temp was too hot, and why your tap roots aren't as big after 3 days.

Thanks! The HSO Blue Dream was great. The yield was more than I expect and the smoke itself was superb. The flavor was aroma was Elmore on the sweater fruity side. Which I like, like so much in growing her again. I would definitely watch her height. I would recommend 2 - 3 tops to slow her down cause she will get tall. Unless u have room.
I do believe overheating the seeds made them take longer to germinate. This was a new method to use this and I wouldn't recommend without the gauge cause it will dry your shit. I might have to try that next time. To much heat is a bad thing better than to cold imo.

That's awesome, and I'm excited to see how she goes. I've definitely heard about the height, and I'm going to be mainlining for 8 colas, so I'm hoping to yield pretty good for a single plant. I'll for sure be keeping an eye on this one as well!

Update! 2 have sprouted but there were no signs of the others so I had to scratch the surface. Had to help 2 of them reach the surface. One still has the seed on her. Hope they are okay
