I'd do it sooner cuz it has a deficiency. A week is a long time when your talking something that only flowers for 8to10 . But if you can't at least flush the plant really well with the 1/4 strength. Doing so evens out the cation ratio which got messed up. Whenever you have a problem like that NEVER flush with plain water .Doing so directly defuncts the said cation ratio. Do make sure you check the runoff ph and make sure it's correct during the transplant. BEFORE you put the plant in.

Yes I agree a week is a long time , But i noticed you said "for something that only flowers for 8 to 10 weeks" well I'm currently still vegging..
I have a ton of pre flowers, but their all natural of 18/6 schedule.
Other then that Im understanding everything else..
