TheBlaze - Strawberry Diesel & Darlin's Net Pheno Hunt

Everybody got what works for them. We are are craftsmen in our own right. What's working for one might not work for another but what's working for you is all that matters. Humic and fulvic is great stuff and applied correctly like Blaze says is really your balancer. I do check my ph because I used to grow with coco coir as my base in the super soil but would always have an issue or 2. I brew my teas with some apple cider vinegar and then bring it down more if need be with aloe gel. I'm not using coco coir no more but still just got into my routine to check lol. Big ups bro.. things looking lovely

I'm just happy that all this info is out there, but I think having a medium you trust and the plants show it is probably the most important thing especially in soil. Doing things to improve upon the soils performance from there is to everyone liking. Not having a good Base and you pissing against the wind.

I think I need to make something clear here. I'm not winging this grow. I did pH in the beginning. That's how I realised the soil doesn't like pH at 6.5 but rather at 7.0 or even a bit higher. I also know that using biobizz or products like EM-prosoil will drop the water I use to around the 7 mark... success ;)

Things like humic and fulvic acid, I spent many hours reading about it before deciding to use it and at what dose, and also not to correct the extremely low pH it creates in solution. I firmly believe humic and fulvic acids are a miracle soil conditioner. I can't believe more people aren't raving about it. Yes, I know soil already has humates in it, but start supplementing with it and then stand back and witness the transformation. It is nothing short of spectacular.

I use humic religiously in coco, love the stuff. .

Lookout blaze your doing something a little different don't scare all the punters bro. Hehe

As a coco grower, I'm scaring myself a little here

I use humic religiously in coco, love the stuff. .

The stuff is a little difficult to come by here in South Africa, but well worth the effort if you manage to track some down.

UPDATE

Day 52 and 31 from seed

Took lots of photos tonight.

I'm very proud of these girls.

The really big ones are strawberry diesel. The mid sized ones are purple envy and of course all the younger ones are darlin's net.

Awesome blaze I just popped some strawberry sour diesel is that the same?

Thanks my man. Genetics are similar but not the same. Mine is strawberry cough x nyc diesel, while yours are strawberry cough x sour diesel. Will be keen to see how yours go as well. I think they will be good. Who is the breeder of yours? Devils Harvest??

Hey Blaze looking great I'm subbed looks like flowers are going to be popping soon

Good to have you here Red.

These are still in veg. Haven't flipped to 12/12 yet. No space in the flower tent.

For my own record... Dnet at day 28 from seed on 08/10/2017

I've watched you do an excellent job with your ladies.

I'm having a problem at this point. Mine have been budding but most recently the leaves have been falling off and turning yellow.

Would you offer an your expert opinion.

This is literally my first grow and obviously I'm f'n up.

Two more weeks left and this happens

Welcome Russel

I can only tell you what I would do if one of my plants presented the problems seen in that photo. I can't guarantee it will fix your problems bud.

First, that plant has more than 2 weeks left in it. Quite a bit more by the look of the buds in that photo.

You can try this if you feel comfortable with it:

- Epsom salt foliar spray
- If your soil is saturated with moisture, let it dry out for a few days until your pot is fairly light.

I assumed you're using organic soil, but actually you might not be. What medium are you using? What pH are you watering/feeding at? What nutrients are you using? If using organic soil, do you know what the basic composition of that soil is?

Ignore the points listed above until we can figure out more of what you are using as medium and nutrients.

Ok then try those 2 points I listed in the previous post. Not sure if it will help though.

I appreciate the opinion you are offering. I know it's not advice or "the cure". I'm just glad I can get some help from someone active

No problem bud.

Blaze, are you doing anything to control the size of those big veg girls? I'm in the same boat with two >50 days of veg and no room in the flower tent until next week at least. I'm thinking all this mature veg growth could limit stretch at least?
