I became addicted to opiods from a bad leg injury at the age 12 & had prescriptions for refill for 2 yrs total. Long story short I ended up falling victim to the crisis even with the help of cannabis/ concentrates
I recent started my first grow indoor in cocoir/perlite with a old bag seed that i forgot bout. Currenty 4 weeks into veg,(slow growth until new leds & plant food) all organic nutrients, no bottled products, temp under control, ph always correct even a breeze & a kicking fruitynl gassy smell (blue dream x bubba kush). This old lady has had defects since day 1 of as seedling. On one side of the plant it sprouts mutations every other node. Having much concern Ive grown to love its flaws. Ive linked images of the most current mutations. Even 1 leaflet of 5 actually put out 6 & 1 on another branch i completely not missing the pointed leaf. Anyways welcome me in on my journey of growing and a newbie on 420magazine.
Equipment (Foxfarm Bush Doctor coco coir, perlite. a generic bag organic bone meal & blood meal RO water. 1000w Sunraise full spectrum LED with 3 modes)
Any tips on a thicker stem, without searching for plant silica. I have a breeze on her aswell. & should i start training this plant now or later.
Thank you & im looking forward to your informative feedback & thoughts on my mutated kush hahah :)

:welcome: to the forum!

I use coco/perlite without soil amendments as my substrate in drain-to-waste hydroponics. Coupled with an automatic watering system, this is just about as close to a hands-off grow as you can get.

As to the light, start with the manufacturer's recommendations, then watch your plants. Yours requires the distance between the light and canopy to be adjusted. I looked it up on Amazon. Despite what the manufacturer says, it's only good for 3-4 sq ft (0.3-0.4 m2) in flower, perhaps double that in veg. I started with an 1800W dimmable COB. It was not enough for a 2' x 4' (60 x 120cm) tent. The small size of the light meant that the sides of the tent received much less light than directly under the light. With four plants, the ones at the sides produced 40% less than the two in the middle.

The size of your stem and branches depends on the nutrients in the soil and the amount of light they receive. Plenty of both without so much to get nutrient or light burn will give you the thick ones you desire.
